The Firm
Since the foundation of the firm in 2012, we believe that what matters most in a law firm is not the number of lawyers, but their quality and a high standard of service.
The Firm counts on its ranks with lawyers with solid academic background and practical experience, working on a permanent basis and in partnership with our external consultants who, for the most part, have worked alongside the Partners of Vasconcelos Advogados and in prestigious law firms, sharing the Firm's fundamental values.
We understand that a service with quality combines an expert understanding of the issues with solutions that are practical, objective and effective, tailored to Clients' real needs. The Partners are involved at all times in matters entrusted to the Firm, giving us in-depth knowledge of our Clients and their business activities. Indeed, we often say that we are in-house external lawyers.

Social Responsibility
Vasconcelos Advogados subscribes to and actively defends the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established in its 2030 Agenda.
We not only seek, individually and as an organisation, to respect each of these SDGs, contributing to their attainment, but we also decline to pursue any interests in direct or indirect conflict with those goals.
Vasconcelos Advogados believes in and upholds the importance of effectively implementing the principles of social responsibility and sustainability, and has selected SDG #10 (Reduced inequalities) as that on which it centres its proactive approach to the 2030 Agenda, to the best of its abilities:
Empower and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status.
Ensure equal opportunity and reduce inequalities of outcome, including by eliminating discriminatory laws, policies and practices and promoting appropriate legislation, policies and action in this regard.
Because the nature of our services and the way we work do not allow us to take effective action on many of the SDGs, we concentrate our focus on social inclusion as a cause we strive to promote and encourage, contributing to a society that is naturally open to everyone, free from any kind of prejudice.
A well-integrated community in which everyone takes an active part is essential for ensuring that each individual can realise their potential, irrespective of who they are.
If someone has a special need, they must have a special response or support.
It is by being fully integrated in society that people can realise their potential and feel they belong to the wider community, in accordance with their individual possibilities and needs.
In keeping with this vision and the scale of our organisation, we provide pro bono legal support for social inclusion projects that set out to provide vocational training for the disabled (CADIN), to provide access to decent food for persons temporarily unable to secure this for themselves (Cozinha com Alma), or to help elderly people enjoy pleasant and decent living conditions (ASAS).
